Changelog

What we've shipped in Gurusup Brain, newest first.

  1. App

Set up your organization in three steps

Onboarding used to mix loose questions with a source setup that only happened later, on Home. Now every admin goes through one full-screen setup, once: name your organization, connect your sources and connect your agent.

    • The organization name is suggested from your email.
    • Continue turns on as soon as a source is connected or a file is saved, so you don't wait for Brain to finish reading.
    • Until the memory is built, Home shows your sources, a Build my memory button and how many minutes are left.
  2. Agents

Connect your agent with one card per tool

Connecting your agent used to be one generic step. Now there is a card for each client (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and any other MCP client), each with a Quick and a Manual tab.

    • Cursor and VS Code install with one click.
    • Claude Code and Codex give you a command to copy.

  3. Sources

Connect Slack, Notion and HubSpot while you set up

Sources used to be connected after onboarding, on Home. Now the Connect your sources step offers Slack, Notion and HubSpot, plus Drop files and a Custom webhook. Notion and HubSpot import everything you give access to as soon as you authorize them.

  4. Memory

Your first memory starts from the most useful content

The first build used to wait for everything you imported, so large imports took longer to be ready. Now Brain starts with a first batch (uploaded files, Notion, HubSpot, webhooks and Slack, in that order) and brings in the rest on later passes. With very large imports, the first answers may not cover everything yet.

  5. Sources

Choose which Notion pages and HubSpot deals go into Brain

HubSpot used to offer only a Backfill button, with no say in what came in. Now Choose content lets you search, filter deals by pipeline, stage and date, tick what you want and press Import selected. In Notion it replaces Backfill.

  6. Sources

Webhooks tell you when content has arrived

After creating a webhook there was no way to know whether anything had arrived. Now each webhook shows Waiting for content or Content received.

    • Generate new URL replaces a URL you can no longer see.
    • Admins can paste up to 1 MB of JSON with Send JSON to send content without setting anything up outside.
  7. App

Your organization, named the same way everywhere

Workspace is now organization across Brain: sign-up, plans, settings and access notices. Team and Settings live in the sidebar under Organization, and any admin can rename the organization from Settings. Contradictions is now called Conflicts, and old links still work.

  8. App

The docs are one click away, and your agent can read them too

The sidebar now has Docs, and the screens where people get stuck (webhooks, file uploads, upload errors, Connect your agent) link to the right guide. The prompt you copy with Copy prompt also offers a read-only docs server your agent can use without signing in.

  9. App

Inviting and managing your team works as it should

Four bugs on the Team screen are fixed, and the screen itself now opens much faster.

    Fixes

    • Inviting someone who is already a member no longer holds a seat.
    • Resend and Cancel work again on pending invitations.
    • Re-inviting a waiting email no longer says it was sent when it wasn't.
    • Removing someone from the organization removes their access, even if they had a session open.
  10. Sources

Sources shows what is really connected

A round of fixes so Sources reflects what you have connected and what each source contributes.

    Fixes

    • Each source's share of your memory is now right. Slack and Notion used to show 0%.
    • An app whose authorization you left halfway no longer shows as connected.
    • Opening a HubSpot source with a single connection no longer leaves a blank screen.
    • Local uploads no longer offer a Remove source button that always failed.
    • Get started shows loading rows, and a Try again button if your apps fail to load.
    • ZIP and TAR.GZ files made on a Mac no longer process or charge for the metadata files macOS adds.
