Changelog

What we've shipped in Gurusup Brain, newest first.

  1. Memory

See what Brain is doing while it learns

Empty screens used to leave new admins guessing. Now Ingest, Conflicts, Skills, Synapses, Queries and Sources show a preview of what they will hold until the memory is built, and a notice across the app says when it hasn't been built yet.

    • Each ingest shows one clear state (Queued, Learning, Learned, Paused or Failed) and a three-step progress bar. A failed ingest is no longer marked as learned.
  2. Agents

Two new tools let your agent tell us when Brain falls short

The agent using Brain had no way to tell us what went wrong. Two new MCP tools fix that:

    • report_issue: a failure the agent can point to. A tool error, information the user says exists but Brain didn't find, or an answer that contradicts its own evidence.
    • send_feedback: an improvement when nothing failed, sent once at the end of the task.

Reports are linked only to the caller's own activity, by id, so we can trace what happened without reading anything else in your organization.

  3. App

Errors tell you what went wrong and what to do

A failure could show technical text: paths, IDs or raw server replies. Now every error in the app says in plain words what happened and what to do next: reconnect the source, try again or contact support.

  4. App

Help and Feedback in the sidebar

Help opens a live chat with the GuruSup team from inside the app. Feedback, right above it, takes free text and reaches us with your name and organization, so you don't need to say who you are.

  5. Sources

Upload several files at once, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

File uploads used to take one PDF at a time. Now you can pick or drag several files together, follow each one's progress, and upload .docx, .pptx and .xlsx as well as PDF. If one file fails, the rest keep going and you can retry it.

Encrypted or image-only PDFs still can't be read.

  6. App

See where your usage goes, day by day

Usage used to show only a monthly total. Now Organization, Usage shows a bar chart of each day's spend, split by connected source, with the smallest folded into Other.

  7. App

Anyone can create an organization and start for free

Getting into Gurusup Brain used to take an invitation or a spot on the waitlist. Now anyone can sign up, create their own organization and start on the free plan, with a monthly usage allowance included. The waitlist is gone.

  8. Memory

Fixes that keep your memory up to date

Three fixes so what you connect and edit actually lands in your memory, without slowing the app down.

    Fixes

    • Editing a wiki page no longer stalls its sync.
    • Organizing a source's content no longer fails on large results, so the whole source reaches your memory.
    • Many searches at once no longer slow down navigating the app.
