GuruSup + Zendesk integration

GuruSup is an omnichannel platform that plugs into the systems your business already runs on. Zendesk stays your team's workspace: GuruSup connects as another channel and puts AI agents to work on the conversations you choose, pulling from your CRM, ERP or ecommerce and replying inside the ticket itself.

GuruSup reads your systems, takes the action and closes out whatever each request actually needs.

Agents work inside your tickets

Zendesk is a native GuruSup channel: we connect through its API and a webhook tells GuruSup the moment a ticket is created or updated. The agent reads the thread, works out what is being asked and replies in that same ticket — your team never leaves the view they know.

  • You choose what gets automated. Pick which conversations GuruSup handles and which stay entirely in Zendesk. One use case at a time, not all at once.

  • Answers come from live data. Before replying, the agent checks your CRM, ERP or ecommerce and applies the business rules you set.

  • It gets the job done. The agent does not stop at the reply: it processes the return, updates the shipping address or books the slot through the integrations you have connected.

Your Zendesk knowledge, put to work

If your knowledge base lives in Zendesk, leave it there. The help centre articles and macros you have already written become the starting point for your agents, and GuruSup fills in the context scattered across the rest of your stack.

  • Start from what is already written. Help centre articles and team macros are the first place agents look for an answer.

  • Context from across the business. GuruSup pulls together what different departments know, so the agent answers with company judgement and not just a support article.

  • It keeps up with you. Change a policy or a procedure and the knowledge follows — agents stop quoting the old version.

A full omnichannel platform, not just a Zendesk add-on

Zendesk covers the tickets arriving through its own channels. GuruSup is an omnichannel platform in its own right: one set of agents handles WhatsApp, email, web chat, voice and Instagram, and the customer's context follows them when they switch.

  • Same agents, every channel. No rebuilding the setup channel by channel. Use cases and business rules are defined once and apply everywhere.

  • Switching channels costs nothing. A customer who starts on WhatsApp and follows up by email is not asked to explain themselves twice.

  • Add channels when you are ready. Start with Zendesk alone and switch more on later, without disturbing what already works.

Hand-offs arrive with the context attached

When a case genuinely needs a person, the conversation is flagged for review and your team picks it up with the full thread in front of them. You can keep every reply in draft mode at first and only switch automation on once the results back it up.

  • Your rules decide when to escalate. Set which cases always reach a person and the conditions under which the agent has to stop.

  • Draft first, send after. The agent writes, your team approves. It is the sensible way to open a pilot.

  • Nothing gets lost in the hand-off. Whoever takes over sees the history and everything the agent already looked up in your systems.

When there is no API to call

Most processes come down to calling the APIs your systems already expose. For the ones that do not, there are other routes — so that process does not get left out of the automation.

  • Extra connectors. Tools without a direct integration are reached through connectors such as MCP or Composio.

  • Browser automation. For internal systems with no API, the agent can drive the interface the way a person would.

  • Always within your permissions. Every connection runs on the credentials and the scope you have signed off.

How the connection works

  1. Connect your account

Enter your Zendesk subdomain and grant access. GuruSup is registered as a channel from there.

  2. The webhook goes in

Zendesk notifies GuruSup of new and updated tickets, so the agent joins the conversation the moment it lands.

  3. We map your use cases

We pick the first ones, connect the systems they depend on and set your rules and limits.

  4. Pilot, then scale

Start in draft mode on one high-volume use case, measure what happens and expand from there.

Permissions, credentials and where your data sits

The Zendesk connection is authorised from your own account and can be revoked at any point. Each integration runs on the scope you approve, and a company-wide instruction stops agents from exposing internal identifiers in their replies.

All GuruSup infrastructure is hosted in the European Union.

Why it pays off

Why add GuruSup to your Zendesk?

What changes in your operation once agents work inside the ticket. How far it goes depends on the systems you connect and the use cases you choose to automate.

Company size
Built for mid-market and enterprise teams, where a single question touches several systems and several departments before anyone can answer it.
Ticket volume
Made for high volume: repetitive cases resolve themselves and seasonal peaks are absorbed without adding headcount.
Omnichannel platform
Zendesk stops being your only front door. The same operation covers WhatsApp, email, web chat, voice and Instagram, with customer context following across channels.
Getting to a resolution
The agent understands the request, resolves it and closes the ticket once the job is done, instead of tagging it and leaving it in a queue.
Reach into your systems
It checks your CRM, ERP, ecommerce or billing before replying, and carries out the action inside those same systems.
Languages
It picks up the customer's language and answers in it — 78 supported, and it can switch mid-conversation.
Knowledge behind the answer
The articles and macros already in Zendesk, plus the context GuruSup gathers from the rest of your departments.
When a person is needed
The conversation escalates with the full thread and a draft reply your team reviews before it goes out.
What you can measure
True resolution without human involvement, response and resolution times, and satisfaction broken down by channel and agent.
