GuruSup processes email metadata (sender, recipient, subject, timestamp) to match conversations with HubSpot contacts. Email body content is synced to HubSpot as timeline activities, the same way HubSpot's own email integration works. Your data stays between Gmail and HubSpot.
Can I exclude certain emails or contacts from syncing?
Yes. You can exclude specific domains (like personal emails), individual contacts, or entire email labels from syncing. Internal company emails are excluded by default. You set the rules, and GuruSup follows them.
Does this work with Google Workspace and personal Gmail?
Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) is fully supported and recommended for business use. Personal Gmail accounts work too, but Google Workspace gives you admin controls over which mailboxes sync and better API rate limits for larger teams.
