Customer Persona

A customer persona is a semi-fictional representation of an ideal customer based on market research and real data about existing customers' demographics, behaviors, and motivations.

A well-crafted persona includes demographic information, job role, goals, challenges, preferred communication channels, and typical support needs. For a B2B SaaS company, personas might include 'Technical Admin Tim' who handles integrations and needs API documentation, 'Manager Maria' who monitors team performance through dashboards, and 'Executive Eva' who cares about ROI metrics and strategic outcomes.

In customer support, personas inform tone of voice, knowledge base structure, and AI agent personality. AI agents can dynamically adjust their communication style based on detected persona signals — providing technical depth for developers and high-level summaries for executives.
